Vitrinor drives innovation with BORCER2025

The BORCER2025 project will allow for research into new product and process solutions for manufacturing borosilicate kitchenware with an internal non-stick coating.
At Vitrinor, we continue to advance in our commitment to innovation and the improvement of our industrial processes through BORCER2025, a new R&D project focused on the experimental development of a new product-process combination for obtaining borosilicate kitchenware with an internal non-stick coating.
To this end, the project includes the design and development of new technological solutions, incorporating new constructive elements, specific processes for the robotized application of coatings and improvements in the control of the production environment.
In this way, these innovations seek to reduce raw material waste and increase the repeatability, efficiency, and competitiveness of processes. Furthermore, they will strengthen our technological capacity to develop new solutions for the kitchenware market.
BORCER2025 is being developed within the Major Projects – R&D 2025 program, with an execution period between July 1, 2025, and December 31, 2026. Specifically, the project has an eligible amount of €1,601,290.25 and a granted aid of €400,347.56, corresponding to 25%.
Thus, thanks to the support of SODERCAN and the Government of Cantabria, we continue to commit to research, industrial innovation, and the development of technologies that allow us to keep improving our products and processes. At the same time, this advancement contributes to strengthening Vitrinor’s competitiveness in the global market.
