Large R&D Projects Program: VITBAUXI24 by Vitrinor
Technological innovation for the development of new aluminum cookware products
Vitrinor continues to advance its commitment to industrial innovation with the launch of the VITBAUXI24 research and development project, an initiative focused on the experimental development of new technological solutions for the manufacturing of aluminum cookware.
The project is supported by the Large Projects – R&D 2024 program, promoted by the Government of Cantabria through SODERCAN, which has granted Vitrinor aid aimed at boosting the technological development of this initiative.
The eligible investment for the project amounts to 2,105,565.42 euros, of which 526,391.36 euros correspond to the aid granted, representing 25% of the total investment allocated to the project.
New technological solutions to improve production processes
The objective of the VITBAUXI24 project is to advance the development of a new product-process binomial, which will allow for improvements in both the performance of aluminum cookware products and the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
To this end, the project contemplates the development of new technological processes aimed at optimizing material usage, improving production efficiency, and increasing the level of industrial automation, incorporating innovative solutions in processes where their presence has traditionally been limited.
These innovations will allow for the development of new kitchenware products with better performance under real-use conditions, strengthening the company’s competitiveness and moving towards increasingly efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes.
Industrial innovation for more efficient cookware
The kitchenware industry is experiencing a moment of transformation driven by the search for more efficient manufacturing processes, optimized materials, and more advanced industrial technologies.
In this context, research and development projects applied to cookware manufacturing are key to improving energy efficiency, optimizing resource use, and developing products increasingly adapted to the needs of modern kitchens.
With initiatives like VITBAUXI24, Vitrinor reinforces its commitment to technological innovation and the continuous improvement of its industrial processes, contributing to the development of increasingly efficient and sustainable kitchenware.
