We strengthen our commitment to efficiency thanks to the Industrial SME Support Program
Vitrificados del Norte S.A.L. continues to move forward in its commitment to sustainability and the continuous improvement of its production processes. The company has carried out the project “Reduction of energy consumption in the enamelling and non-stick area through the renewal of its equipment with new high-efficiency technologies (HORASP2024)”, within the aid program for energy efficiency measures in SMEs and large industrial companies.
This initiative is part of the energy saving and efficiency support scheme co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by IDAE together with the Government of Cantabria, with the aim of moving towards a cleaner and more sustainable economy.
Thanks to this project, Vitrinor has modernised the enamelling and non-stick coating area, incorporating state-of-the-art equipment that significantly reduces energy consumption and optimises resources. This represents a total investment of €376,171, of which €69,486 have been subsidised — reinforcing the company’s commitment to responsible innovation and industrial efficiency.
With this action, Vitrinor continues to take firm steps towards a more efficient, competitive and environmentally respectful production model — a step that reflects the company’s philosophy and its commitment to the sustainable development of the sector.
