Sustainable

Real commitment, from day one. At Vitrinor we understand sustainability as a responsibility that runs through everything we do: how we produce, what materials we use, who we work for, and the kind of world we want to help build.
For us, sustainability is not a trend. It’s our business model. It’s our way of being in the world.

At Vitrinor, sustainability isn’t an add-on. It’s been part of our identity from the very beginning. We manufacture responsibly, efficiently, and with commitment, reducing the environmental impact of every piece we produce.

100% renewable energy since 2020.

Long-lasting products: resistant, durable, and easy to maintain.

Safe enamels and non-stick coatings, free from PFOA and toxic substances.

Use of recycled and recyclable materials.

In-house waste management to minimize waste across the entire process.

Our plant incorporates a pioneering water-use system that allows us to reduce consumption by 75%.

Always energy-saving

Cook better, consume less. Our goal is to achieve the highest possible efficiency in energy use.

How do we achieve it?

Faster heating: Vitrified steel heats up to twice as fast as other materials thanks to its high electrical absorption and direct energy transfer.

Efficiency at medium power: Designed to deliver optimal performance at medium power, saving energy without compromising cooking quality.

Greater durability: Cooking at medium power not only saves energy but also extends the lifespan of the cookware, keeping it in top condition for longer.

Social commitment

At Vitrinor, we don’t just make cookware. We create jobs, drive local development, and support a business model where people matter.

We are a Sociedad Anónima Laboral (employee-owned company): this means that those of us who work here are also part of the ownership and decision-making. More than 300 people committed to a shared, stable project rooted in Cantabria.

This model allows us to generate not only economic value but also social and regional value. Because where there is industry, there is future.

Creating stable,

quality employment in rural areas.

Collaboration

with solidarity projects: donations to vulnerable groups, humanitarian aid (such as sending supplies to Ukraine), and support for Cáritas and other social organizations.

Support for cultural,

sports, and social initiatives in the community.

Participación

in trade fairs, public innovation programs (ICE Next, Innova), and technical training at local centers.

In a world that’s increasingly outsourced and impersonal, we stand for the opposite: roots, closeness, and commitment to people.

Made in Cantabria.
Created for the world.

Our sustainability isn’t based on promises, but on facts:
We’ve been manufacturing in Cantabria since 1995.
We export to more than 50 countries.
And we do it with a model that cares for the environment, for people, and for every resource we use.

Choosing a Vitrinor product is much more than choosing a pan or a pot.
It’s supporting a responsible, sustainable, and committed business model.
It’s cooking that makes sense.
